According to Alice—that’s Alice in Wonderland—“What is the use of a book without pictures or conversations?”
That’s what Alice had to say before she fell down the Rabbit-Hole…
“Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, ‘What’s the use of a book,” thought Alive, “without pictures or conversations?’ ”

Why Girl’s grandmother Florence and her friends lunched at swanky restaurants. Many times Why Girl was included. With eyes wide open, she would watch the time-honored ritual at the end of the meal when each lady, one by one, would take lipstick out of her purse and without a mirror slide the glossy substance around her lips.
Fascinating. How could they do this without a mirror? These astonishing women were able to apply lipstick to perfection without using any reflective device. Amazing.
Unfortunately, Why Girl did not inherit this talent.
YEY to the ladies who lunch in style.
“The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”
One of the leading Why Girls is the inimitable Dorothy Parker.
“The cure for boredom is CURIOSITY. There is no cure for curiosity.”
